How to copy games to your iPod?

I have 3 iPod games ares download on my computer, but can not transfer because they are not in my account Apple. I downloaded from Ares, but I'm not sure if this will work? Only some iPod allows you to install the games .. iPod you have it .. From what I read in iTunes, they are only compatible with 5th generation iPod (with video) only .. I may be wrong, and if anyone else might have to respond to your inquiry ..
