When should I use more expensive golf balls?

Shot 70 of high and low average of 80 in one day. I currently play Nike Power Distance soft, or something. It would be a Pro V1 or high-end golf ball beneficial for my game? If not, it would, if possible? What is the difference between the Nike Soft and PD Pro V? Thankx

IVE used two of these balls and preferred distance Nike sweet. I felt like I had good touch on the greens and at the same time and success from the tee. I think maybe subconsciously I did not like Wilson, probably because was a Wilson. Also, if it is not broke DONT fix it, stick to the identification of Nike
